Thank God for all He is! He's has blessed me with a great family and friends. He has blessed me with many gifts and and talents. He has given me positions of influence to pour into lives. Every day, I wake up with one purpose and one goal and that's to please God in my words, works, body and mind. This picture was taken in NYC during Fall/Winter fashion week and I was on cloud 9...obviously. At the time, I didn't enjoy where I was working because the office owners tried to be controlling...like when it came to my personal life controlling. Very odd...especially since there weren't any relationships with them outside of professional AND they were all married men! I knew I had to move to on to something else because I don't believe in allowing people to break you down. I also knew that I needed to learn something else before I left. One thing I knew but got to see from an unexpected source was that some people aren't happy and they can't stand to see you happy and growing. I knew that environment wasn't for me. The good thing is I saw that I didn't allow that to break me, my positive nature or my goals....as seen on my face in this picture.😎 No one can steal your joy, hope or peace unless you allow them to. Jealousy is real and I've never called anyone jealous. Some of the wise people in my life have shined light on that descriptive term and I've had to realize that some people really are jealous. Regardless, if you are reading this, I hope you aren't jealous of anyone or anything. We all have our battles and we all have a purpose. Stay focused on your purpose and stop looking at someone else's. That's the only way to move forward and grow. Know your place and stay in your lane. This is what happens when you have a patient that has worked for THE Sun Records for years. Johnny Cash and Elvis were discovered by and first recorded at Sun Records. Many other greats recorded at Sun like Jerry Lee Lewis and B.B. King; but now, they sale licensing from the artists on the label that they have rights to and memorabilia. Doing what I do best...meal prepping and baking!! Keto Spice Cake (my favorite!) and Cinnamon Flaxseed Loaf (1st time making it..). I typically make everything muffin sized, even egg muffins for breakfast but I wasn't for it today! lol Anyways, I had too many birthday cakes and too many lunches and dinners. That was how September ended and October began. I'm back on track and I don't feel guilty.
